I want to work on large projects with really cool teams that would be sending robots to other planets or working on audacious + impactful technology for Earth.

My vision for environmental robotics is to have one robot per park in the world. The robots would work as a swarm team on tasks about environmental sensor monitoring, collecting plastic, watering vegetation, and planting trees. However, to accomplish this, both technology and community are necessary. Citizen scientists will be key to making this possible. Eventually, these robots might become indistinguishable from being their own species, and thriving in nature. The positive impact from the robots doing their tasks, collecting data, and their longevity, would be greater than what it took to make them.

I like to dream of the future. I love how with space applications we can uncover more about how Earth works. I wonder about methods of transportation, infrastructure, habitats on the lunar surface and Mars — and how additive manufacturing, generative design, and renewable energy will be at the forefront of this. One way to preview this is with augmented and virtual reality, which is amazing to be immersed into.

My interest in entrepreneurship comes from a desire to make these ideas a reality and get them off of the bench and into the real world. Most of my ideas are crazy. I got my start through Maker Faire by presenting my idea and getting people interested in purchasing kits or following me. I harness the power of community, social media, and crowdfunding to make the projects viable.

Above all, one of my dreams is to meet people just as quirky and inventive as me, and maybe one day we can form a team together to really build something with a massive impact while having a lot of fun in the process.
